Biography


Edward Berge was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1876. He studied at the Maryland Institute and the Rinehard School of Sculpture in Baltimore and while in Paris he studied under Verlet and Rodin. He was a member of the National Sculpture Society, the Charcoal Club and the National Arts Club. Today, Berge is best known for his garden and fountain figures.
